SEWING FOR A GOOD CAUSE: Give a sick child a smile! Cindy Kerr started making pillowcases for her son Ryan when he was in chemotherapy. Since then, her efforts have expanded to found ConKerr Cancer: A Case For Smiles, a charity that distributes fun pillowcases for sick children in local area hospitals to brighten their stay during treatment. Join us on Wednesday, April 30 or Saturday, June 21 from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day to make pillowcases using fabrics you bring or yardage from the shop. If you don’t want to bring your machine, you can still rotary cut, iron, or package the goods (great for non-quilting helpers, too). Please call the shop to R.S.V.P. and for details!
